The colder than normal weather(48-50 degrees w/15-20 NW winds) kept many bikes away but there were still 110+ there. My wife ABSOLUTELY LOVED!!! the backrest. The first time I took off she said she was a little tense but it held just fine. many other bikers came up and took pictures of the bike but asked many questions about the backrest. I guess the best question and most often asked and shocked was...you made it? Of course the guys at the local HD shop were less than impressed since their concept is "what HD says will fit a bike is the ONLY thing that will fit it." Had a great time, now for some heated gear and chaps.
+1, getting her a bike of her own solves a lot of things.
She even agreed to another bike in a few months more suited for the two of us; I'm thinking Electra Glide. Oh I can still keep the Wide Glide too!! I asked again and she has no desire to ride alone herself.
