hmmm... I could be wrong, but aren't you already supposed to be running synthetic in that bike?

There's alot of threads on this subject and from what I have read it seems that alot of people speak very highly of the Mobil 1 V-twin 20w50 synthetic in their engine and primary and the Mobil 1 Synthetic 75w90 gear oil in the tranny. Matter of fact you can get all of it at your local WalMart even the filter too,... well my local Walmart didnt have the 75w90 synthetic gear oil so I bought it at Autozone. I had my steeler do my 1000 mile service and I had them install the H-D synthetic, and they used their Syn3 in the engine and primary and the Formula + in the tranny.

If you are getting the Enthusiast magazine and have the 2005 Fall edition they are saying thta you do not have to change the tranny oil but every 20,000 miles and the primary every 10,000 miles. I just wanted to put that in.

Do a search, you'll find a couple hours of reading material on this subject.

Does it make sense to put transmission fluid in the engine? Why would it make sense to put engine oil in the transmission?
