I think I got my TORX socket kit from Checkers Auto Parts store for 10-12 bucks. The first time I changed my Primary Chaincase fluid, the HD parts guy said I'm gonna want to change my gasket also, $7.50, so I got it and went home. Take the inspection cover off and find two totally different looking parts from what was installed and what I had been sold. What I was sold would have fit in there, but I decided to stay with the original and save $7.50 because I'm a cheap ***. I think I recall the service guy telling me that the dealership uses the solid face replacement because it keeps fluids from splashing up on the inside of the inspection cover. The thing is, I've never seen any fluid splashed up on the inside of that cover, and it surely doesn't leak out.
