Just finished a few mods and looking forward to some riding where my teeth don't chatter.
Hey Jim, nice looking bike. I'm trying to get that look on my '08 like yours by presently installing a set of 8" drag bars and have just ordered the Magnum Sterling line of cables. Any reason you clutch cable is in front of your fork brace and not routed behind? I ordered a -2" in the hopes of getting the stock one behind the bars like it was from the factory and not rubbing up againest the rear of the headlight housing.
Hey Dene.
Your bike is looking good! It looks like you got your hands full.
I probably should have just relocated the turn signals like yours. It would have saved me some headaches for sure.
The shop that ended up doing the work (in addition to the planned rotor, stator and primary seals) routed the cable that way. I'm not overly pleased about it and will check back with them next week to see about re-routing it.
You guys have some great looking bikes! My latest project is the sissy bar. I've cut off the stock bar from the side plates and currently building a usable 48" sissy bar/rack with a back rest and small cargo to put in its place. Next will be a/c, then a jocky shift.
