I agree thats why I when back to my timex and sold my tag, they both tell time the same way:lol:
Now Now, there is a difference between between a Tag and Timex! I am a big Watch Nut! I have a few Tag's, Monte Blanc's, Hamiltons and i am still collecting, if they were all the same, we would have never bought a Harley Davidson, Instead we'd all be riding metric cruiser's right??? LOL
This is actually what I have been seeing as well. When I look at places that are selling both, I find that the softail customs are higher mileage as opposed to say the sg customs (or even WG's and Low Riders)....same years etc...and still the price is usually a grand or so higher. Just can't seem to figure what it is that makes these bikes worth that much more.
they sell for 3,000 more so if they maintain that margin the resale would be the same. minus miles and add ons of course
Well thank you brother Dyna for setting me straight with Gramps and the tour bike.
sorry I'm just saying, there can be a large price difference between different msrp's. i dont think that it gets any bigger for re sale though, ie there is no difference between models as far as holding value all are the same, nothing holds value really... you start losing money the minute you sign.

I agree. I don't even understand why I'm fighting over this topic.
Softails probably hold a little more resale % from MSRP....again... demand....Touring models have great resale here in Fl. In Tampa area the touring bikes outsell the rest of the lineup by about 2-1.
