Default Should Throttle Be Loose
I just had my 1K service on my Bob, and the mechanic made my throttle very loose and smoothe (like butter), he said that it should be like this. He didn't really explained why. Has anyone done this and reasons why????

It is that way so you don't inadvertantly give it gas when making a right turn.

What do you mean by loose,
Too much freeplay as in movement at rest.
Easey to twist as in no resistance when riding.
The only problem with the easy to twist is that when you hit a bump the throttle moves and the bike jerks. But you will get use to it.

Yes, easy to twist, no resistance. I took it for a test ride, and it was actually very nice!

The mechanic probably but some oil in the cables to make it loose. This has to be done every no and then.

He actually did lube it. He also said that if I wanted it tighten back, just turn that ****. I will ride with it like this for a little while just to see if I get used to it.
