Recently acquired a 2006 FXDWG. Bike purchased in CA so has the evaporative emissions canister below the voltage regulator on the lower front portion of the frame. What does this thing do? What would happen if I just removed it? None of the spoilers/covers, etc. in the HD catalogue will fit over the thing. Anyone have any suggestions?
WS6,
Whats your take on the possibility that EPA might do inspections here in CA. I know we could just put back that canister, but I think it might be a bitch putting it back on. You think they might not notice it gone and if a diagnostic is done like a SMOG type test, you think it will fail because of the canister being removed????
