08/09 fxd

Has anyone put a 180 on their stock 10 spoke rear rim yet?
If so how does it fit ? And are you happy with it.

Mine are 07 but I have one on mine. It fits fine and rides good. I think bberck has one on his as well.

I have one on my '08 and it works great. I love the look and if anything the handling improved. Not going back.

Have one on mine and have been happy with it so far (about 5K).

If dont get the kit make sure your signal wires are out of the way. I got mine twice before I got them out of the way good enough.

Just put the matching SE tire on the front and happy with it so far. It sticks in the corners much better than the stock tire with 16K on it LOL

That's a good point. If you go through a dealer, they are likely to try and make you buy the entire "wide tire kit". Well, the kit is just a couple of brackets that retain your signal wires under the fender. That's something you can do on your own if you want. My dealer would not sell me the tire unless I bought the kit. So, I got my indy to order the tire (cheaper than I could from the dealer by the way) and install it for me. I have the detachable hardware and signal relocation kit installed on mine which uses a bit more wire than stock so my wires were already being pulled out of the way. I've had 0 issues with wires being rubbed. On the other hand, I had the wires come out of the clip on one side of the fender when the bike was almost new and got rubbed in two by the stock tire.

I already moved my wiring when i did the FLHR rear light bar..
The bracket kit is a major ripoff.. (wide tire kit)
Im suprized quite a few people actually buy it..
