Default What can i gain with 4 extra cubes?

I now have 103" motor SE 10.5-1 Pistons, if i were to bore it to a 107" or even a 110", How much would i gain and would it be worth it.

I have cams, Headwork, SE 50mm throttle body, and SS roller rockers.

Thinking about doing it this winter just curious if it would be worth it or not.

What is your goal ...?

You're sayin' that what you got now is inadequate??? What kind of dyno numbers is your bike putting out now?

I guess it's a sickness ... you'll probably end up like forum moderator "Mud" who ended up with 121" ... LoL ...

I'm not sure he's satisfied ... he could be goin' up to 131 next for all I know!

[Just yankin' your chain ... if you're reading this Mud!]

The old saying is: all things being equal, there's no replacement for displacement.

Realistically you wouldn't see any performance gains except on paper, maybe. If you just want to spend some cash and have some fun try a nitrous system of a supercharger, either will make tons more power than any internal work you could do from this point.

If you are like me and enjoy tearing down your own engine, I would say go for it! If you are paying to have it done, the difference may not be that big of a payoff for the money. I am sure you would notice a difference, just not that much.

Check into a Axtell 117" kit. Its a big bore kit but the cases would need to be bored out to accept the new jugs.

Forgot to mention. Depending on how much more displacement you go with, you may need to consider a different cam as well to meet the needs of the new engine. The cam you currently have may work on the 103 but it may not work well on a 107,110,or 117 Just something to consider.

1 to 1.1 hp extra per cube, and slightly more on the tq.
