New Dyna Rider...suggestions anyone?

Used to ride a Honda Shadow. Hated the seat and loved the Mustang I replaced it with. Buddy put more than 90k on his stock Shadow seat and never had an issue.
Stepped up to a 04 FLHT and put 40k on the stock seat with nary a whimper from either me or my s/o. Swapped that out for a 09 FLHTC last year and still running the stock seat.
Picked up an 82 FXRS shovelhead some p/o had put a Corbin on and couldn't wait to dump it. Found a stock seat and have no issues (but I don't use the shovel for long trips)
S/O picked up a 2000 FXDL (explaining finally why I cruise this forum ;-) also with a Corbin (gunfighter close) and hated it - too hard, too narrow so the battery box bruised her thigh, etc. Found a stock seat on fleabay and made a few $$ selling the corbin so she's happy. Oh, btw, s/o is 5' nothing and weighs less than a full grown cocker spaniel so that may play into things.
