Nice work Jaron. Now that you have wrapped this up it is time to break into the motor and bore that biatch out.
Any news on moving over to the westside?
Yea I wish!! The wife would probably have my head!! Maybe I can get as a present to my self when I re-enlist!! No word yet on the move. I get to start shopping on orders in FEB. They say there is plenty of orders for my rank out there so it shouldn't be a problem.
I would like to advise you to use grommets in the fender holes. I pasted two types of them plus p/n's from the instruction sheets database into an new diagram for you (see attachment).
Don't forget to put some touch-up paint to the fender, bro!

Thanks for that I may take them out of the old turn signals. We'll see!!
+ 1 on the grommet..
AND !!! damn nice job.
I like the way you chose for the wires..... no fear......
Thanks! Honestly if it wasn't for you posting that pic earlier in the thread I wouldn't have done it because I was planning under the tail light the hole time.
Excellent job. Did you have to remove the rear tire to do the mod?
Nope!! I just put masking tape on the fender and I have a bench grinder that I used to grind down the light bar to fit flush. Then marked the alignment of the holes and measured down to the center of the hole. Then measure the distance from the bottom of the tail light to the hole on each side to make sure it's even, then drilled. Measure twice or three times or till you're ready. Once everything was good to go after drilling I touched it up with some paint and put it on. I was able to fit a regular size ratchet with a 1/2" socket. No wheel removal needed at all. I know you didn't need all that info, but I felt like talking (typing) tonight!!
Oh and I put clear nail polish on the grinded down part of the light bar to prevent rust.
It looks like it's 68615-04. When I bought is just searched for touring light bar and found the one I wanted. Bought mine off of ebay. Here's a few from google shopping.
