Ape Hangers on Wide Glide?
I want to replace my stock mini-apes with real Ape Hangers. Any recommendations??? I'm leaning toward 14" Chubby Apes. I'm 5'9, so I reckon that's about the right height for my body. I want it to be comfortable, as well as lookin' good. Any opinions, or recommendations? Anybody share any pictures of their Wide Glide with Apes would be great. Thanks!

What all did you get from him? Bars, cables, controls, brake line? All chrome controls? 1" or 1 1/4" bars? What brand controls? What brand cables? What brand bars? How much to your door? Always looking for the best price and quality.

I hope this is not considered as hijacking the thread but I have a question along the same lines. I have a Dyna SG with the stock front end. I want to put apes on mine too but I also want to swap out the front end with a WG. Does it make sense to wait to put on the new bars.

I run 16" bars on my Wide Glide. 8" longer cables. I'm 6' 3" tall and they are just about right.

My sig pic is my raked superglide with custom wideglide forks and 13" apes. They are perfect, IMHO.
Yes it was a hijack....but, I recommend doing front and and bars at the same time.
