Looking for an alternative to my HD sissy bar. I like the attitude stick, but what I have read it isn't to be used for passengers. Anyone using anything like the attitude stick. Also wouldn't mind mounting a pad to it.
You could always fab up something. Had mine build and it is very strong. Still wanting to add something in the middle. Might just say the heck with it and take it off....but it is so handy and gives passengers something to lean against.

Not sure if that is the best pic, but that is the Attitude Stick P/N Part # CV8000CV8002. I had to get new mounting brackets too. I had it all PC'ed to match the bike.
I bought the attitude stick. Why wouldn't it be for passengers. It bolts to the same Harley sideplates. I'm not a big chrome guy, and wanting to be different, I covered the sissy bar using black surgical tubing. I got it from McMaster Carr, lubed up the bar and inside of the tubing with dishwashing liquid. Used lots of elbow grease to get it on. (This stuff is super durable) Let it sit about a day, the dishwashing liquid will evaporate and the tubing will be tight to the bar. Then trim off the excess at the bottom where the bars go into the sideplates. The tubing is a little shiney, so I just scuffed it up a little with some scotch-brite. Everyone that sees it say wow, what it that on the bar. If anyone is interested, the part# is 5236K45, the color is opaque black. You'll need about 5 feet @ about $1.35 a foot.

Cycle Visions says they're for looks only. Probably not able to support too much weight. Having said that, a friend has the same same Attitude Stick as I do. He has a pad from Drag Specialties and his gf at the time didn't have a problem with it. She was on the very thin side, though...
