Talking Bar and shock question

hello all
i've just bought a 95 fxds and it has been lowered, i would like to raise the rearend about
3'' can i do this with new shocks and would it possibly be ok to raise the frt shocks in the tree about two inches
i didn't know if this would mess up the steering geometry of the bike,
the bike has buck horn handle bars, any suggestion on bars,
alot of questions i know, but who else would you ask
lol lol

thanks jim

Well, I'm no expert but if you raise the rear 3 inches and drop the front 2 inches in the trees, your definately gonna be changing the handling of your bike. I would think quite drastically...As for what bars to use...It all depends on what look your going for... JMO

Jim,

Leave aside your bars for now, they are not very interesting! Your suspension question will tax some of us. You need to be more clear on just what has been done to lower your bike. That will help to work out what to do to undo it. If the previous owner lowered it can you get info from him, also the parts he took off?
