I am trying to find engine guards for my 2005 Dyna Wide Glide that will work with forward controls. Tried several at the local Harley Dealership and it won't work. Just curious if anyone else has run into this problem. Or if there are some other places I could go to get engine guards that will work on my bike with forward controls.

The engine guard for the Wideglide does not mount to the frame in the same way as most other DYNA's with mid controls. It mounts on a flat bar that attaches to the down tubes with u-bolts.
You need H-D part number 49010-93 as shown on page 206 of the 2006 H-D accessories catalog.
