I had a short in a wire behind my battery a few months ago that threw all kinds of different codes at me. It caused the bike to run bad as well though, not just throw codes.
No, they're disconnected. I naturally assumed the ECM flashed a code cause it didn't read.
The codes I got were P0373, and P0374
I recently updated my firmware to my PC. Not the MAP, but the firmware. Could that be a problem.
Secondly, would the Check Engine light come on, then go off for like a maintenance reminder
?
The check engine light doesnt come on as a maintenance reminder.
Did you connect the 2 O2 Sensor Terminators provided with the PC3?
Did you reinstall your map?
Did you reset your diag results and rerun a test?

Ok cool, I wasn't aware of that. Thanks.

Yes I did, I've had my PC-V for a few months, these codes are new, ill try to redo the Map tonight when I get home.
Did you reinstall your map?
Not yet, doing an Overnighter, ill be home post 5 pm EST.
Did you reset your diag results and rerun a test? No yet. That will be done immediately following the reset, as an added incentive, I'm going to jet clean the IAC valve again in the event its dirty, using Carb cleaner.
Sapper thnxs for the responses and the guidance. Ill post my results tonight post 6-7 pm.
as for the P0505 one of the tips for that indicates "This code may occur with others for a multiple code situation. Resolve the other codes first to correct."
None of the codes appears to be related to o2 sensors but I would have a look at the Crank Position Sensor and its wiring and connector.
One of the first accessories I bought with my FB was the full set of Service, troubleshooting and parts manual. Not cheap but indispensable at times like this!
Correct me if I'm wrong but the CKP tells the ECM the engine speed. Therefor that could explain the lack of Idle speed control and the P0505.

Wow, My first guess was the O2 sensors, but the crank sensor...
Curz, thank you, ill remove and inspect it, I know its an electrical item, but in my experience, a lil cleaning, removes the junk off of it and sorta and restores the functionality of the sensor.
This weekend, No delay, ill pick up the manuals. Hopefully, the cleaning, will fix it.
I installed a pcv about 6 weeks ago and at the same time re relocated my front turn signals and when I went to verify I had the wiring in the bulb correct I accidentally sparked off the handlebars. After that I had a mess for a week with a blown turn signal fuse, bike would occasionally shut itself off, oh yea, that was fun going 75 down the freeway and bam no power. Anyway, I did the diag check because it threw an engine light too, got the exact same codes as you, I ended up replacing my system relay, plus I cleaned the ckp sensor which looked perfectly clean.
Been running like a champ the last month.
Sapper, Turkey Dinner ended up as a Hunting Weekend in PA. Just got home this morning. So, no I haven't had a chance to do anything.
Cactus, I'm planning to pull my Crank sensor as soon as I can. Good point on the relay. Although I have no idea how to check the operability of the relay.
I got the MAP all set to reinstall, its just a matter of finding the time to do it all.
Holidays really suck up free time. Trust me, ill advise you of what happens.
