Default homemade seat in progress
This is a little at-home seat job I'm doing. removed old seat-cover. cut down padding by 1" re-wrapped with old Army wet-weather jacket. Just need to form it better to fit and secure it underneath. I think it goes well with the paint/theme of the bike I call "Old Sarge".

I think it's just too busy for my taste. Maybe if the sides and back of the seat were black leather/vinyl with the camo panel up top?

How old is "Old Sarge" now anyway, a year?

Get the foam shaped how you like then use spray glue and glue a piece of fleece to the foam. This will cover any imperfection he foam. Then glue your camo material to the fleece. Once it's dry pull it tight around the edges and staple it to the to the seat pan on the underside. This is what I did to my seat, But I also added a layer of thin plastic to keep the fleece from getting wet. Oh and instead of an old camo jacket I used a peice of leather.

Keep the advice coming. I have no idea what I'm doing. thankfully this was an extra seat so if/after I screw it up I can just throw it away, and put the stock seat back on.

I'm open to more suggestions

I'm not into the camo pattern. If the center was brown suede leather, like you see on a horse saddle, surrounded by the black leather I would like it better, but it's your bike and what do I know
