Hey im a new guy and was looking to get some help cause everybody i know has a bike with a carb.
Does anyone have a bob with tfi. Im looking to change exhaust and was wondering if the 02 sensors would be a problem.
also my bike misses every now and then was wondering if any one else had this problem, maybe the tfi?? I am still trying to get the
bike to run well because the dealer never tuned the tfi. I discovered on my own that it was just slapped on, all still at factory settings.
I cant give you all a pic but it has modified se2 mufflers and se2 air cleaner and some nice powdercoat work
The TFI say's it works with the factory O2 sensors but they do not go into detail how they work with them. Least not in my short research into it. I assume if it works with the O2 sensors they do not eleminate them like the Power Comander.Meaning you will most likely need pipes with bungs to install the O2 sesnors. The options are growing quickly in exhaust for the 06 dynas.
I have a Bob with the DFO (same thing). I also have the HD Download and BCT baffles now, so, I can't help you with your settings. However, tweaking it is simple. You just adjust the four settings until you're happy. It won't be fine tuned like a PCIII or SERT will allow, but, it will get you in the ballpark and will eliminate the lean condition of your bike. Better yet, call George at Dobeck and he'll give you some settings.
He recommended cutting the third setting down a bit if you're running a download with your setup.
