Those prices seem a little out of whack because I was going to order 4 chrome buttonheads for the handlebar clamp and total cost would have been $3.50 from fastenal.
Yea I don't know! I tried to see if they sold them in less quantity but since they don't carry them in that length we had to order them and they won't do it individually. At the hardware store the chrome button heads are only $1.69 each, but they stop right before the size I need. It's all good, I'll get figured out, it's not like I'll be riding anytime soon with the 2 degree weather and snow on its way.
My saddlebag support used the existing signal mount so what I did was just redrilled the 2 holes for the signals about a inch from the end on the same support bar it was originally mounted on.Looks just like it did from the factory..Just gotta use a sharp punch to strike and dimple the chrome so the drill bit dosen't walk on you..It's a 3/8 hole and I drilled it in increments.First hole 1/16 then 1/8,1/4 then the final 3/8 hole.
That's a good idea!
But...it looks to me after the turn signal there's just not enough strut to drill and put the signal...is there??
Any photos available?
Anyone try these??? Small..out of the way.."Cheap".. Would these work?
Hell..they only need to flash, you don't need them to stand out like a badge of honor.
They may even fit on each side of my headlight.
That's a good idea!

There is plenty of room on mine. Here is a pic.Still need to get a buttoncap for the old hole..
