I tucked mine behind the engine bolt and haven't thought about it again.

I love the forwards, just don't forget where to put your feet for the first little while till you get used to it...lol

For me front controls are head and shoulders better than mids. A lot more comfortable and better control and handling of the bike. I'm 5'10

My (2008 FXDC) linkage came off during a hard shift I accidentally accomplished without using the clutch. So I now need to go into the primary and while I am there going to replace with all new parts as well as oil seals. Does the rear shaft slide right out as the front shaft does?
