I don't see why not. With the battery band just don't bend it because it's not sturdy at all. For the electrical cover it depends on the finish. If it's wrinkle you'll have to take that off. If it's chrome same prep as above. The pros will have to give you the for sure answer though.

best way to take the wrinkle black off?

also... would it be beneficial to put a top clear coat on them after drying? (the fork lowers)

I replied to your PM, but I forgot to say you don't need a top (clear) coat for epoxy. Now if you want to add more coats of epoxy wait a week before you paint.

That, and if you shoot clear over it, you will have wrinkle black again.
