I'm buying a C&C seat next week. Did you get gel in yours? I want it as comfortable as possible. I heard good and bad things about gel.

Just commented about gel in another thread. 2 problems with gel, they hold heat or cold for a very long time. So you know when the bike has been sitting out in the sun for a while and you get back on that seat, expect it to stay that hot for a really long time. also depending on the foam around the seat, could make the seat feel like you are sitting on a toilet. I personally do not like gel, opinions vary. If the seat pan is well designed and the foam right, you should not need gel at all.

Thanks. I think I'll go without gel and if that doesn't work out I can always add gel afterwards.
