I have an '09 Superglide with a heavy breather a/c, rinehart crossbacks, 103" kit, plus Andrews TW55 cams at a 9.5/1 compression ratio (milled stock heads). I'm making decent power (92HP and 104TQ) and enjoy a nice, flat torque curve, but I'm ready to take it up a notch, performance-wise. I'd like to get over 100HP and 110-115TQ, If possible. It would be nice to keep the same cams, but improve top-end performance with headwork alone. If I need to go to a different cam, I don't want to sacrifice on midrange power between 3000-4500rpm.
What would be the least expensive, most effective way to go about this?
A 2 - 1 pipe will put your hp# over the mark you're searching for without changing the power curve you currently enjoy.
Certainly do your own research but you will find virtually all the 2 - 1 pipes will offer nearly identical performance gains, it really boils down to finding one that pleases your eye and your wallet.
