Default Both wheels off at same time?

Hey all, I've got my front end out at the powder pro's place so my front wheel is off, so I was doing some brake/caliper work while it's accessible. What I am wanting to know is if I can remove the rear wheel right now while the front wheel is obiviously off (along with forks/triple trees too). I'd like to check that rear axle out, check out the caliper/rebuild with new seals, and clean the cups, new pads, and all that requires the rear wheel to more or less come out, is that gonna cause a shift of balance and frame comes tumbling down? I've got the thing up on my j & s jack now, I could put some cargo tie downs on it if needed or if I'm asking for big trouble I'll wait til I get my front end back together before I dick around with the back.
Thanks...

will be fine, I have a sears jack so I have to tie mine down, J&S is probably better at this than sears. Could be best to tie down just to feel more safe.

You might want to have a buddy around to insure that it don't shift on you.
He can stand at the front as a "just in case" thing.

I have a sweet spot on mine where I try to center the jack on every use, but I still get nervous when yanking a big wrench on it.

Ahhhh man, LMAO, I just got off work, get home, cracked open a cold night cap, and thought I'd see what survey says and wheels, and BAAAM, theres your pic (Like This), I dun spewed about a 1/4 of my suds on my shirt from laughing and choking. Hey it don't take much to get entertained when you work grave shift, lol.

Anyway, I think by your pic, I can assume it's good to go for both wheels coming off.
Thanks amigos for the replies, and I will go ahead and puts some straps just to be extra safe. Now I can tear into it on my next weekend, which starts tonight, sweeeeeet.

oh, no doubt it should always be tie off but I like doing things the hard way Joe. I was just showing that both front and rear can come off and the bike is still stable. I'll probably learn the hard way too..Maybe I'll go put some straps on her now...
