Wow. You now can buy a former Kawasaki model and pay three or 4 times more for a less reliable machine! To bad. Indian used to be one of the great American motorcycles. If they had done what H-D did right after WWII we might be riding Indians.
I've never really been into Indians. They just look over the top to me. In my eyes though, they need to stick with what they know, classic chrome and classy paint. This new-age "bobber" look doesn't really suit them.
Yes. Indian is back and with the same proprietary engine that caused them to go bankrupt in the fist place. California Harley Davidson is one of the few dealers that are going to offer Indians on the same floor as the Harleys. Wait… I think I hear A LOT of people spinning in their graves over this move.
I hear that it's part of the new CA energy plan, they are just going to harness the power from that eco-friendly grave spinning to off set our big dirty bikes
As for that bike, it'd look decent if they cut all of that fringe off of it.
And, I haven't heard anything good about that motor.
you could build a much better looking and performing bike for literally a 10th of the cost.
Back in the day I believe that all american motorcycles were in trouble and that if AMF bought out Indian instead of H.D. we would all be riding Indians. And yes my 72 Super Glide is an AMF and to this day I still get crap about it (It's not a real Harley) But I still love riding it and still get a lot of compliments just my opinion
read a review on them in cylce world I believe. It said the new owner has really tried to put out a nice product but the motor is still the weak point. Also commented on the very high price in compared to similar harleys.
i love the look of the bomber. slap on some apes and you have a sweet looking bike. but 30K? thats insane. i'd rather get a nicely equiped road king or street glide. that paint scheme would look sweet on any number of harley models.
