Saw a review in Motor Cyclist magazine ....

Nice bike. I jumped on their website to see how much they wanted, but couldn't find a price. I ran across an article a while back and seem to think that they were expensive compared to HD. Didn't realize that they participated in Cash for Clunkers either until I hit their site.

Yes. Indian is back and with the same proprietary engine that caused them to go bankrupt in the fist place. California Harley Davidson is one of the few dealers that are going to offer Indians on the same floor as the Harleys. Wait
I think I hear A LOT of people spinning in their graves over this move.

If you go to the link for 'specification' it show the pricing ... a good bit more than most of your H-D models ... ranging from mid-20's to mid-30's ....
The stock motor for the Chief is a 105 ...
I think their appeal is largely the nostalgic styling (for example, the classic tear drop headlight set in the massive nacelle) ... and the fact that they're American V-Twin motorcycles ....
[Although I kind of like the fender skirts, I don't care for the way the disc brake cuts into the front fender skirt ....]

A lot of people probably think the same thing about Harleys ... think of how many forum members grouse about their Dynas being mistaken for Sportsters ... lol ....
