Hello, I have been thinking of removing my front turn signals. I do not want to cut the wiring, so my question is do they have a plug in connector anywhere? I have a 2010 Wide Glide and my wiring is inside the handlebars. I have read the posts about the relocation kit but it did not say anything about a connector. If the only way is to cut the wiring I will just live with the signals. Thanks very much
Connectors for the front signals are under the tank if memory serves me right. That being said id be willing to bet if a guy took the battery terminals off and took the signal apart he could pull the wiring back thru the handle bars just two little metal pcs on the ends inside the signals. may have the clearance to pull back thru other wise the connectors are under the tank on my 07 dyna.

Find the connector under the tank. Take the connector plug apart, not the signal, to expose the pins.
Remove the control houseings from the bars and the rest of it should lay bear before your eyes. The wireing buddle is most likely secured to the inside of the housing with a screw.
Everyone hit the nail on the head. Under the neck of the frame is a plastic cover. Remove it and fish around for a small brown plug and a small white plug. These are for the turn signals. Unplug them and remove the pins. Now diassemble the control housings on the bars and you will see that the signal wire is zip tied to the rest of the wires. Take a set of needle nose side cutters or a pocket knife and cut that zip tie. Unscrew the signal from the mount and with a little persuasion pull the wires or that one big black wire that the wires are inside of out thru the bars and the control housing.
On my 09 FXDB, I removed the tank to access the wires under the frame, the rubber grommet where your handlebar wiring enters the frame comes out and you can fish out the connectors, each side had a 3 position AMP mutlilock connector, right is black and left was white. The pins will remove from the connector and you can pull them out, if your's is the same as mine remove the switch housing cut the zip ties and the wires will pull out the switch housing, during my ape install I wish I took the time to remove the pins out of the connector, I got inpatient and cut them, hindsight I wish I did it right. A service manual will help with the tank removal and how to remove the pins out of the AMP mutilock connector, or you may be able to pull the wires throught the where the rubber grommet was and save time not removing the tank.
While this job is not hard mechanically, I had a h3ll of a time getting my fingers up under the tank to pull the wiring down. Plus there are like 3 or 4 different bundles of connectors. Be sure you have the correct one.
Thanks for the info, I plan on messing around with the bike today. I would prefer removing them without taking off the tank. I will post back with what I come up with. Thanks again
If you Dyna tank has the same fuel line as a softail tank does, disconnect the fuel line before you screw with the tank. The line breaks really easy and cost $47 to replace it. (you should check your state law before removing the front signals)
