Default Cable Change

I am changing the cables (Throttle/Idle) on my 05 FXDCI, is there any way around removing the tank? Thanks

I'd say just pull the tank, even if it's possible to run the cables with out removing it, it would make life waaaayyyyy easier.

Yup, just lift it up from the rear. Did not remove my tank to change my cables. will want to prop up front to remove front cable guide from frame. Slip a screwdriver behind it and it will pop out of the frame hole.

I'll try that Rounder. There doesn't seem a lot room though, the vacuum hose is holding it down I think.. I unbolted the tank yesterday to see if I could slide it back...

Pull the hose from the petcock/connector. Also pull the fuel line. I can stick a 3" wide roll of duct tape under my tank. That's my 'go to' tank holder when it's raised. I do have a carb, so it's much easier for me in regards to the fuel line and such.
