Yea Dyna 2007........that's what I've heard. Black is the new Chrome. But when you're as old as I am........what was once cosidered OLD, always makes a comeback. Just look at the bobber style. Eventually, Chrome will once again, become all the rage. It's just a matter of time.
I personally like all my vehicles clean and monochromatic. My 2004 2500HD is black with black leather and is rocking black wheels. However, my 1993 Chevy 1500 SS is red with red interior. Came straight from the factory with everything paint matched and absolutely no chrome (although one of these days I will put some nice polished wheels on it). I also remove all the badging from everything as soon as I buy it. Now I am going to make everything that I can on my 2010 WG black...bc the color of the bike is black.
For those of you that say blacking out our rides is just buying into the current fad...I could just as easily say you chrome freaks are making a desperate attempt for attention. But its your bike so do with it what you want. I appreciate everyones attempt to make their rides their own.

Flat black, now that it is something that goes back, way back to the early days of hotrods, before the word crome was used in conjuction with a car if I am correct.
It is all good. Whatever you like, go with it. You are riding it, be yourself. Good luck, and if you come to the Dark Side, well as has been said before
