Screw the Chrome. I'm Going Black.
Gentlemen, I have been working on an exhaust project for the past few days for my 2009 Fat Bob.
Modifying the stock mufflers inside & out
Wrapping the headers in black
I've been photographing the entire process and will post comments and photos when I am finished. Currently the wrap is drying on the pipes under a space heater since it's in the 30s today.

Problem is, after a couple years, they'll all start looking the same. Sooner or later, after the blacked out fad fades, you'll all come back to the bright side. As for black, the prettiest one's are the gloss blacks with gleeming chrome. Now that's a pretty sight to behold.
