Mine would do something like that ( not locking). It didnt matter which way I wiggled or jiggled it I could not get it to lock. I finally used a small file and smoother out the hole and it works now..

Only bike I locked the forks on was my V Star 1300. And only because the forks locked when you turned the ignition to full off. Other than that, I never lock the forks. Shoot, on my Dyna, I haven't put the key in the ignition since I brought it home.

Same thing with mine..........then when I finally got it locked, I couldn't get it UNLOCKED. Talk about going into a panic. I mean how stupid would it look to have to call someone to come over to unlock your bike!!! Seems to be getting easier with time...
but you definately have to find that "spot" for the tumbler to turn.

And you would be a "Coner" as in "one who rides in the nose cone."

Besides, "nuke" is only half a word, usually it's preceded by "F***in' "

Yeah it helps if you're somewhat smarter than either the key, lock, or the fork. Just yankin your chain. You learn sumpthin new everyday and if ya don't, you ain't livin right.
