I didnt buy the manual yet, so how many qts of oil does a street bob take?
Thanks! And I seached, I saw 2 1/2 one place and 3 another.

2.5qt. in the engine oil tank, 1qt. in the primary, and 1qt. in the trans.

This is not true, 3qts. only if engine is disassembled and cleaned. 2.5 qts. is the right amount. Too much and oil will leak out of the air cleaner.

mine too 3 qts on the money,then again,i let it darin real good overnight : i am right @ the full mark . i actually think it drains better cold. all the oil is at the bottom. just my thoughts .

just double checked manual.......3 quarts if motor is completely broke down and dry. Just 2.5 with oil and filter change.

Just change the filter, drain the oil, then dump in 2.5 qts and read the dipstick. If it's low, add more.
