Well, its not only you.. I'm on my 2nd motor mount and its already crap. Gotta replace it AGAIN, and I'm only at 26,000 miles.

I don't know, but the True-Track was my first thought. And do the engine balancing process as described in the service manual. Some guys here add shims if a gap develops during the process.

If the motor mount is installed with too much gap, it will tear itself up. Like the last one said, you may need to shim the mount. Tru Track improves the handling, but if the mount isn't set up right (and more than a few were sent that way from the factory) it won't solve the problem.
Check this out and on it there is another link that is very helpful: https://www.hdforums.com/forum/dyna-...teresting.html

A True-Track will stop any sideways movement of the engine mounts, which could help, but the mounts have to be correctly installed. When you have sorted the mounts fit a TT kit - you won't be disappointed!

I'm going to start with checking the new mounts are installed correct (GOOD ADVISE)! Second order a Billet Motor Mount Stabilizer for front! And third and the Sputhe Engineering Postrac Stabilzer fornt and rear looks like the ticket.

Any Thoughts? And be nice! Thanks for all the advise on prior post!

Nothing against True Track!!

New motor mounts, leave them just a tad loose, start the engine let it run for about 20 seconds and tighten them all up. Then check the front mount for gap - jack under the engine (with bike on full jack) just loosen the front mount bolts... and jack up the front of the motor until you can turn the front mount bolts by hand.... check the gap.

I did this on my bike and removed a bit of vibration... gap was ~1/8".

Haven't had any problems with the motor mounts on my '00 FXDL. Sounds like someting is wrong with the install.

BTW, those are some big numbers for a 95". Would like to hear some details on your setup.
