New Wide Glide 103" ordered
I love my 103" Fat Bob but when I saw the 2010 Wide Glide with its luscious black and flame paint job it brought back fond memories of the original WG back in '80. My interest rekindled I trawled through these pages and found the stunning ride owned by CQCBlades, and that was it.
Today I've ordered a new Wide Glide in Vivid Black With Flames, and are having the dealer fit another SE Pro 103" Stage II kit along with the V&H Big Shots Staggered from my Fat Bob.
It won't be here until the end of March, but the snow's pretty thick here right now so I have the next few months to think about customisation. The smooth rear shocks are a must, the sissy bar is going and the Brawler seat looks awesome too.
As a side note taller riders might like to know that the Wide Glide feels very roomy, not least because the front of the tank is lifted. At 6ft7in I need the space.
