Removing baffles???
good move on opening them up. for the most part taking the whole baffle out will effect your torque negatively. will certainly be loud though. I had to pull baffles to change em out of another set of pipes I had. 1 would not budge.... here's what I did..... stick pipe in freezer for 1/2 hour or so. Now, remove and heat the pipe with a blow dryer or heat gun from the outside, as the heat expands the outer pipe, the baffle will remain cold and will just fall right out(with some light tapping).
Generally in the past I just squirted some penetrating oil in the outlet of the pipe where the baffle meets the outer housing, let it soak for an hour, go do something else, come back squirt a little more and then couple light raps with the hammer and it falls right out. When you put it or some other baffle (bct baffs) back in it will smoke a little when it warms up but otherwise good to go.
