Default Windshield...handlebar mount vs fork mount and memphis slim vs del rio, vs rio grande

I am going to leave the shield on at all times. Wind is too much for me on my rides. Between these choices, is 1 better than the other? I am looking at the memphs shades....thanks

Lots of choices and opinions out there, what works for one may not work for another. That being said I have the HD low profile quick detach and it seems to work fine. First you need to decide do you want to look over or through the windshield. I have done both and prefer to look over and a lot of riders consider this to be much safer. If you ever get caught in a down pour while in heavy traffic you will find looking through can be very dangerous. Just be aware that looking over will make you feel more wind around your eyes depending on what type of helmet you wear. Good luck with whatever you choose.

Pics of your choices? Do you really want something bolted to your bars?

Here are the 3 I am looking at. Leaning towards the slim. I definitely want to see OVER the shield as I wear a full face helmet anyway. I am thinking I would need a 17"? I am 5'10

Given the choice, fork mount. Your bars are rubber mounted and if you put a large heavy screen on them they move towards you at speed, also possibly make them vibrate more. A small screen may be ok, but won't give you much comfort.
