Smile 07 street bob

Hello, Was wondering if anyone has any ideas on filling an extra hole on struts that was left when I relocated rear turn signal lights on a 07 street bob... Or do I just buy a strut cover? Thanks for any info out there...

I used the detachable docking points for a detach backrest. If you don't use a backrest, you may be able to use the filler caps anyway, but with a short allen-head instead of the long allen-head going through the docking point.

For the detachable hardware kit you need the brackets that go in the inside of the fender so you can screw a bolt from the outside (it's threaded for front and back bolts). Since the bolt went from the inside of the fender and screwed into your turn sigs you didn't need threads. Or you can get shorter bolts (I think it's 3/8 x 16 thread) then get a spiked nuts and the spiked nut would just be on the outside of the strut and doesn't look like a normal nut. Then you just have to pay maybe less then $10 instead of spending $40 on the detachable hardware kit for the detachables you don't have.

Here is a pic of mine using the slugs from the relocation/detachable hardware kit. I also used chrome torx bolts.
