I also did not buy my bike in hopes it will hold it's value, but theres certainly nothing wrong with it doing so. I will also never sell this bike, being it is also my first Harley, besides I kinda promised it to my son already (now 11 yrs old)

My bob is my first Harley also. And I have already decided that it will be my son's first Harley, he's not due until Oct. so it'll have lot's of miles on it before he gets it.

I'm going to kill the motor and coast down hills maybe that will save some mileage.

but the 07s have the same tranny and forks but a larger engine. why would the 06 be a collector, because its the last year of the 88? seems like the first year of the 95 would be even more desirable...

Im thinking because there will not be many bobs with the 88 engine. Im sure they will continue making them with the larger 96 for years to come.

Curious, If anyone knows how many 06 bobs they made?
