2006 is the only year for the Dynas with the six speed tranny, larger front tubes, and 88 inch engine. These are collectors items and should be worth a mint in a few short years.

I totally agree that we do have a collectors edition here, with the 07s already sporting changes, like that ribbed seat, brush aluminum fender struts, and of course the engine. I visited my local HD dealer, got to see a 2007 SE Ultra Classic, very cool. Also saw a 2007 vivid black Bob, I didn't care for that ribbed seat too much and the fender strut looked good, but I rather keep my chrome ones.
I hope it is worth alot it years to come but that doesn't mean that I will ever stop riding it. It rides and handles like a dream.
At first I was upset that the 07 had a 96" motor but you know what, the 88" has been around for a while and has proven itself in my book. It also has plenty of power for me. I have one regret, this is my first street bike........I can't figure out why I waited so long to get one???????
I honestly didnt buy my bike in hopes it will hold it's value...I've been wanting one for so many years and now that I have one...well...A good riding buddy of mine still has his first Harley in his garage (Fat Boy) which is 15 years old. He said you should never sell your first one. I'm taking his advice.
