I've been agonizing for quite awhile now over new pipes for my 07 Low Rider. I've about wore out You Tube and have decided that Big Shots are what I'm looking for. Question is, are they hard to put on? V&H doesn't have install instructions posted on their site so I'm curious if I'll run into any glitches getting them installed. Also any recommendations for a good place to buy from. V&H lists them for $624.93.
Great pipes, install is a piece of cake on my 2004. Instructions included in the box. Very easy to do, basic HD tools will get it done in 1-2 hours, depending on beers
As stated above, we can hook you up for a great price. The install is simple. Take off stock pipes, mount exhaust bracket and install exhaust. It is literally 6 bolts for this install. Get new gaskets too.

Don't the V&H require the installer to reuse the retaining ring and exhaust manifold flange from the stock exhaust? I know the Big Radius I owned did. So he needs snap ring pliers as well!

I love mine. The only complaint is that they are very close to the oil filler cap - making oil checks a pain. It helps to loosen the heat shield to provide enough clearance to remove the cap.
I went with one of the newer digital dip sticks from HD to make it easier to check levels. A plus in doing this is that I now also know my oil temps are staying low - haven't seen them over 225 this winter, but I'm sure I'll gain a few degrees when it warms up. I run Redline in all my holes so feel like I've got a pretty good cushion anyway.
