air cleaner

My stock air cleaner sucks air in from the front and when i ride in the rain it draws in water. Does anybody have a remedy for this.

You actually have a problem with that. You should have a problem unless someone sticks a bucket there and covers the hole completely. Sorry no cure, I think you're the first I've heard of this. I rode in practically a monsoon for 35 miles and no issues.

Some WWII aircraft engines had water injection; I forget the exact reason but I think it was a way to boost HP or cooling...forget. You're getting some unregulated water, but I don't think it's gonna hurt you. You might get some "steam cleaning" of your piston tops and combustion chambers.

I think you'll be fine, the stock cover should provide plenty of protection. My a/c is fully open and I have never had problems in the rain. I used to have a rain sock and it disappeared, gotta get a new one. Anyways, don't fret.
