Air Cleaner question
Is anyone using the TRAK-TEK RAM-FLO? I am concerned about how it will handle riding in the rain since it is so open.

I have it on my bike. I've been caught by heavy rain on the road and no problems have been cause. It's a great product. Maybe the oil in the element filter don't let the water be sucked.

I have an open K&N air cleaner, and it hasn't given me any problem in the rain... K&N sells a cover which should be used on mine in the rain, but I haven't spent the $30+ to buy it, and like I said... no problems as of yet.

Hey thanks for your inputs! I'm going to go for it! I've always liked that type of air cleaner. I had a similar one on my 1966 Chevelle SS 396 back when I was in high school.

Does anyone know of a back plate or complete stock air cleaner assy that'll fit a '92 Sporty that's for sale? My buddy just got a bike & the dang AC backplate is busted up. He wants to ride it, but we're afraid that it might be running too lean, not to mention all the junk he'd be pulling into the intake.
