Excuse me for going off topic, but gotta ask - who would run a Boarzilla on a stock motor? I have a 117" in my bike and wouldn't run that pipe.

I just installed the Fat Cat on my bike and I'm very pleased with the sound. It has a nice deep rumble at idle and it really barks under acceleration. I have the standard baffle and it is stock...for now... It is not quite and does not sound like a Honda...
I don't know who would say the Fat Cats sound like a Honda.....never ever heard a Honda that even comes close to the beautiful deep rumble of the Fat Cats on my 09 FXDC....sure its only Stage 1 stocker and even a user of the controversial XiEd's but gotta love that sound when I get on it. I ride along with a fellow who has the 103" and Thunder headers.....yes they are louder....but sound any better....I don't think so. By the way my Andrews Power Pulley 30 T gives the 103"er a run for the money!!!
I can tell you the thunderheader doesn't sound good at idle but sounds bada$$ when you twist that throttle. Is it possible the fat cat has the same deal?
Damn...I've never heard that before! Your crazy dude, LOL! I know pipes are a personal flavor, but damn!
Thank you everyone for your input. I decided to wait on the Fat Cats until I hear them and I am ready to build up my engine. Eastern Performance was running a nice deal on the V&H Big Shots. At the end of the day I know they sound great and I think I like the shorter pipe look for my street bob. Pipes, quiet baffles and gaskets for $518 delivered.
