Can anyone please confirm the only thing I need to do is put in 1" bearings?

The set came with the front FXD rotor.

Also came with some sleaves/spacers...will I use them?

Will my sprocket fit on the rear wheel without issue?

Waiting for warmer temps to actually do it, but want to know what challenges may be ahead.

Thanks!
For the front - Why not just go with a 25mm axle and axle spacers and leave the wheel alone?
The thickness is the same at the fork legs at least is was up to 08? Did it change for 09?

I think this is the point i was trying to get at...

screw the machine shops and leave the wheels alone...just buy the right spacers and stuff for the 08...and i would get the chrome ones in the process as they aren't that much more (spacers)...
I didn't know about the axle size being different...but surely it won't be that much....i would think less than a machine shop charge...maybe not...

oh well.. back to the jack

I still can't *confirm* all my '07 front end components will fit right if I change out the axle, bearings, spacers to 25mm components. I agree, that would be easier than machining the spacers.

If there is someone out there that has done this and can confirm it, please post!

If all the other '07 components will work and fit right with the 25mm stuff, then the options are:

1. getting the new 25mm stuff and leaving the wheels as they are

or,

2. machining the spacers down so the 1" bearings fit and then reusing the old 1" axles.

Like I said before the O/D of both bearings are the same its just the width..and thats why the 1" bearings stand proud of the hub.Any machine shop worth its salt can lathe the 09 wheel set at the hub the required depth and then have the bearings pressed in.Take this suggestion to your local custom shop,I'm sure they've done it before.

Check these out too.... http://www.vxb.com/page/bearings/PROD/Kit7940 I'm pretty sure these bearings may be ok without machining...measure the 07 and 09 bearings and see if these will fit ; )

I put an 08 chrome profile wheel (25mm axle) using the 08 axle and axle spacers on my new out of the box from Zannotis front forks as well as the 07 with the 1 inch with the inch axle and axle spacers. Everything works fine.

Easy way to check and verify(for 09-10) if you get the dealer to look up the part numbers for those years and see if they are still the same:

45948-06A right fork
45947-06A left fork

Ok I just got a set of switchblade wheels from an 09 Dyna for my 06 Street bob. Just so I have this correct if I change out the bearings to 1" from 25mm and machine the hub slightly so that the new bearings fit flush with the outside of the hub I can use my stock spacers and axles? If not what am I missing. I know tha I have to a new rotor as well. Speaking of the rotor which one and will I have to do anything to it to work? Does this work on both front and back wheel?

I used the 1"x52x15 bearing in the rear 08 fatboy wheel,
it was cheaper that getting a machine shop to mod the hub to fit standard 1" bearings.
most wheels after 07 will only take 15mm wide bearings and the 1" bearings are 21mm wide.
