Thank y'all for the compliments. This is my first bike and my first time working on a bike, it's been educational to say the least.
@Joe- Yah, I plan on narrowing the bars and still need to grind down the "fillets" on the stock levers; maybe polish them up after that. These night train bars are just temporary anyway until I get a set of these made:
What they did was to put a small battery under the rear fender and put all the electronics under the seat on those FXR style side covers! They are making a kit for that, but I don't like the rear end like that.
Maybe you guys can come up with some solution to the battery issue.

Stock electrical box chopped, horn relocated under backbone. (I know, still needs paint.)
Coil mount relocated and fabbed in place of horn, tool pouch installed in electrical box location.
Push-to-choke marine ignition replaces factory ignition switch. Starts like a car, push in key to fire horn.
Hella H4 offroad headlight installed, switch mount fabbed from scrap, low/off/high switch
All factory electronics removed from bars, Jay Brake single cable throttle. Bars need narrowing/replacing, controls need machining to remove ridges. Tank will eventually be chopped. (Narrowed, smoothed, and mounted higher on backbone.)

They're a PITA to take on and off and they're the one thing my wife asked me to leave alone; she loves 'em. Believe me, I'd LOVE to get rid of them altogether. lol
