I want to swap a 2" stretch tank for the stock tank, on my Fat Bob, I am not having any luck finding one. The only thing I can find is a 2" stretch for softail models, Can this one be modified relatively easy to fit? or any suggestions as to where I might be able to find a 5.1 gallon stretched tank that would fit?
Maybe not ... a lot of the stretched tanks taper off to points on either side, so it leaves a space for the seat ....
There are weld on tank extension that are kind of truncated cone shapes that you can find in Custom Chrome, or Drag Specialties or V-Twin Mfg online catalogs if you have metal fabrication / welding skills ... or if you can find someone to hire to do it ....
