Hey there. Just installed street slammer 1 1/2" bars on my bike today and now the throttle grip sticks. (kury iso grips) is it just a coincidence or did I do something wrong? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
red devil....nope i did not, should that be done. I just hooked the ends back up in the grip and reinstalled.
You definitely want to recheck everything so it's not binding anywhere. Make sure you can turn the bars fully to the left & right also. While your at it, lube the cables. The last thing you want to happen when your out riding, is having a cable snap on ya. I usually put a light coat of graphite on the bars before I replace the throttle grip.
Thanks for the quick help red devil. I will try that tomorrow. I ll let you know if it works. I was going to let you know that the grip feels a little hesitant a half throttle, but when fully opened it stays in position and does not return. It was working on the last set of bars. Could it be too long?

Check your manual cruise control **** under the throttle grip you might have turned it by accident this will cause it to stick , also check the 2 cables coming from the throttle that go behind the air cleaner and make sure their in the slotted holes ... been there done that !!

wonkaboy, already tried that cruis ****. Was hoping that was the problem. The two cables from behind the air cleaner seem to move freely ... i am at a loss for now...Thanks
I don't think the cables are too long, I'm thinking you just have to readjust them. You might have to loosen them both up and start over. Wait until tomorrow cause I know how this kinda **** can get to a person! Let us know how it turns out.
I had that problem too. You might have tightened the cables too much. That could cause them to stick. Just mess around with the tightening nuts till it feels and works right.
