are you using the shorter spacer on the side with the brake caliper? Just wondering
Yes
Its wasnt hitting much.
I have it clearing now with the shims in there just not sure if thats was the best method. I am guessing it is since HD sells a similar shim so you can use some of these brake rotors on a duece.
I have it off a half dozen times since yesterday and got dam Anti Sieze stuff all over the place.
I got it all together and its not rubbing now and the brakes seem to be woring properly.
A few pics, Its getting close
yeah, I sure would not pull apart again.... bike is looking great, I kinda hate D&D right now, not only did the upsweep the pipe a tad for 06+ Dynas, the also have the pipe end turn out a little too.... Damn their pipes are so much nicer now than the one for my 05. Not to mention it is shorter in length as well.
Scoot's lookin killer dude...everything you've done looks real good together for what you're after! Good choices & obviously thought out over & over, LOL!
I am real happy with the way everything is turning out. Just wish I could get all my parts. I am back at a stand still again till more parts come in.
Front wheel bearings havent showed, New front turn signal relocation brackets were on BO, and Zanottis still hasnt hasnt shipped all the stuff for my tank and its been over 2 weeks.
did you install the bearings in the wheels or did they come pre installed? believe it or not there is a difference depending on which bearing gets installed first...its very small but can make a difference. i think its the rotor side bearing that gets pressed in first. maybe its possible its off just that much if you need shims for the rotor.
