I might have read the posts wrong but I thought that a 180 avon would fit on the stock rear rim just fine. My dealer told me that there would be enough room to cram it in but if the tire flexed when I turned it would rub? I have heard of a tire kit but I thought it just held the wires up tight tot he fender and was not a an entire new fender strut etc? any help?

The problem with most 180's is the stock rim is not wide enough to mount it to safely. The stock rim is only 4.5 inchs wide and most 180's suggest 5.5 I think. This doesnt mean some one hasnt mounted a Avon 180 to a Dyna rim but I wouldnt.
The SE 180 and the Pirelli Night Dragon are both designed to fit the 04 SE Duece which had a 4.5 inch rim. So both of those will safely mount to the Dyna rim since they are the same size.
As for the wires you can but the brackets or just make sure everything is out of the way good. I have the SE 180 and do not run the kit. My tire did get into the wires the first try of getting them out of the way though so the kit isnt a bad idea.
I would keep the same rims, so i think a 110 is the only one that will fit up front.
I guess im just wondering if the hd guy is wrong about the 180 with a stick rim. I will put the perelli dragon one on if it fits without any rubbing. the HD guy seemed like he was guessing and had never done one before.
I did mine the only thing I would suggest is where the inner fender strut bracket is u will feel where it hooks out to hold back wires. I cut that off just in case when the tire wares down it doesn't rub the tire that's like the only big thing u get from HD when u buy there kit. I don't have rear turn signals so no issue there. SE 180 looks good and fits fine. I wouldn't put the perelli unless ur going to replace the front as well. Don't want the tires fighting against each other.
