Its a T-45 Plus for the pinch bolts

A regular T-45 will usually work but its not the right size.

They are just slighty fatter than regular Torx bits, it is designed to allow greater torque.

If you put a regular T45 in the pinch bolt it looks like it fits but will fill a little lose.

I do to so I replaced 95% of mine with stainless hex heads from Ace hardware. The pinch bolts are 3/8X16X1.5" I replace all the cover bolts, hand control bolts, pinch bolts etc.

Time to raise this thread from the dead..

Long story short I came up one bolt short when I put my bike back together. It is the top bolt on the clutch side holding the hand controls together. Is this the T-45 bolt stated above also known as 3/8X16X1.5"? I will be buying this bolt at Ace. Photo attached to help identify bolt. Thanks guys!

Nope, not the same bolt.

Bolt described above is the pinch bolt that holds the fork tube in the triple clamp - not the smaller one you have circled holding the clutch lever switch assembly. I dont know the size of that one.

Switch housing screw should be a #10-24 x 1/2" T25 button head.
If your local hrdwr store doesn't have any with the torx head I would sub with allen button head.
